These Terms of Use govern your use of the Poke Info app on Android or iOS, the website at pokeinfo.minsoeaung.dev, and Poke Info Pro. In these terms, "Poke Info," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Poke Info service.
By downloading, purchasing, accessing, or using Poke Info, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. If you are not legally able to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you.
What Poke Info provides
Poke Info is an independent, unofficial, offline-first game-reference companion for research, Living Dex and collection tracking, team planning, and related tools. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers of the games it covers. Reference information may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect, so verify consequential game decisions against official game sources.
Features, supported devices and operating systems, data sources, and remote services may change to maintain, secure, or improve Poke Info. We do not deliberately delete or hide existing player-created data merely because Pro access is unavailable, but you remain responsible for keeping backups of information important to you.
License to use Poke Info
For Android, subject to these terms and applicable store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Poke Info for lawful, non-commercial purposes on a compatible device you own or control.
The iOS app license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms explain Poke Info's product, website, support, data, and Pro policies and supplement that agreement; they do not replace it with a custom Apple EULA. If these Terms conflict with that agreement concerning the Apple app license, that agreement controls. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable store rules remain protected.
Poke Info is licensed, not sold. Except where applicable law or an open-source license allows it, you may not copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, lease, reverse engineer, modify, bypass access controls for, or create derivative commercial products from Poke Info or its original content. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these terms.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- violate applicable law or another person's rights;
- interfere with or disrupt the app, website, purchase verification, security, or connected services;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems or information;
- bypass, manipulate, or fraudulently obtain Poke Info Pro access;
- misuse remote content hosts or use automated requests in a way that burdens them; or
- introduce malware or use Poke Info to distribute unlawful or harmful content.
Your content, backups, and shared files
You retain ownership of the team names, collection names, configurations, files, and other content you create or import. You give Poke Info permission to process that content locally only as needed to provide the features you use. You confirm that you have the right to use, import, export, and share your content.
You are responsible for exported .pokeinfo backups and team-sharing files, including where they are stored, who receives them, and whether they remain available. Anyone with access to an exported file may be able to read or restore its contents. Restoring a .pokeinfo backup replaces current local player data only after the app validates the file, shows a preview, and you confirm Replace.
Poke Info does not provide automatic cloud backup or sync, or promise recovery of local or exported data. Operating-system backups, where available, are separate and depend on the platform, app configuration, and your device settings. You can move player data between Android and iOS with manual backup files. Keep an additional copy of anything important and review files before importing them. Backup compatibility depends on app versions: update the receiving app if it cannot read a backup created by a newer version.
Free includes all reference and research tools, one complete Living Dex, one complete team, Favorites, one collection, and manual backup and restore. Pro adds multiple Dexes, multiple teams, team duplication and sharing, and multiple collections. Backup and restore does not require Pro. A full backup restore replaces current player data after confirmation; it does not merge separate sets of progress.
Poke Info Pro
Poke Info Pro is an optional, non-consumable, one-time purchase through Google Play on Android or Apple's in-app purchase system in the App Store on iOS. It is not a subscription, has no recurring charge, and does not require a Poke Info account. The applicable store displays the price, currency, and any taxes before you confirm a purchase.
A completed purchase unlocks the Pro features described in the app at the time of purchase for the supported lifetime of Poke Info on the platform where it was purchased. "Lifetime" refers to the supported lifetime of the Poke Info product, not the lifetime of the purchaser, developer, device, store account, operating system, or any third-party service. It does not guarantee that Poke Info, every feature, every data source, or every platform will remain available forever.
Platform-specific purchases
Poke Info Pro purchases are managed separately by the platform where the purchase is made. A purchase through Google Play unlocks Pro on supported Android installations associated with the Google Play purchase. A purchase through the Apple App Store unlocks Pro on supported iOS installations associated with the Apple purchase.
A purchase on one platform does not grant Pro access on the other platform. To use Pro on both Android and iOS, you must purchase Pro separately on each platform. Purchases can be restored only through the applicable store, subject to that store's rules and purchase verification. The same store account used to buy Pro may be required to restore it.
Moving a backup or a shared team moves player content, not a Pro purchase. An internet connection may be needed to buy, verify, or restore Pro. A failed verification does not by itself establish that no charge occurred; check the applicable store's purchase history or contact support before purchasing again.
Google Play or Apple processes payment methods, orders, and refunds under its applicable terms and policies. RevenueCat assists with purchase verification and entitlement management but does not create a Poke Info account for you.
Pro access may be withheld while a payment is pending and may be removed after a refund, chargeback, cancellation, revocation, fraud determination, or platform requirement. If purchase status is temporarily unavailable, Poke Info may be unable to confirm new Pro access. Existing player-created data remains viewable, exportable, and removable if Pro becomes unavailable; creation above the current Free limits may be blocked.
Nothing in these terms limits refund, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be limited. For purchase or refund assistance, contact us or use the options provided by the store that processed the purchase.
App store terms
Your download and use of Poke Info are also subject to the applicable Google Play terms or Apple Media Services terms. The relevant store processes the purchase and may provide purchase and refund options under its own policies. Poke Info's developer provides app support through the contact below. Apple does not provide maintenance or support for Poke Info. Apple's Standard EULA governs the Apple app license as explained above; these supplemental Terms are between you and Poke Info. Mandatory store terms control to the extent of any conflict.
Third-party services and links
Poke Info relies on third-party platforms and public resources for app distribution, purchase verification, website delivery, and optional media. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them. Availability, accuracy, security, and continued operation of third-party content and services are outside Poke Info's control.
External links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and privacy practices of services you choose to visit, store files with, or share files through.
Pokémon content and other intellectual property
Pokémon and related names, characters, artwork, audio, and marks belong to their respective owners. References to them identify the subject matter and compatibility of the app. Poke Info does not claim ownership of third-party material and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., or The Pokémon Company. Nothing in these terms or in Poke Info grants you a license to third-party material.
Except for third-party material and content you provide, the Poke Info app, website, branding, design, and original code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material to you.
If you believe material available through Poke Info infringes your rights, email support@pokeinfo.minsoeaung.dev with enough information to identify the material and your concern. We will review good-faith rights complaints and, where appropriate, remove, disable, or replace the material.
Updates and availability
We may update, add, suspend, or remove features and may stop supporting versions of Poke Info when reasonably necessary. Remote media, purchase verification, website access, and support may be interrupted or discontinued. Local features may continue to work when technically possible, but uninterrupted or permanent availability is not promised.
You are responsible for installing compatible updates made available through the store for your device and for maintaining a compatible device. An update may be required for security, data compatibility, purchase verification, or continued use of connected features.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poke Info is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, accurate, compatible with every device, or fit for a particular purpose. Downloads, imports, exports, and reliance on reference information are at your own risk.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poke Info and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or opportunities arising from Poke Info or an inability to use it.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so parts of these sections may not apply to you.
Ending use and enforcement
You may stop using Poke Info at any time. We may restrict access to the website, support, purchase verification, or other connected services when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, protection of third-party services, or enforcement of these terms.
If you materially violate these terms, your Android license to use Poke Info may end; termination of an Apple app license is governed by Apple's Standard EULA. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and accrued rights. Removing the app does not automatically delete exported files or affect transactions and records retained by Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, or other providers under their own policies.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Myanmar, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim, you and Poke Info agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue informally by email.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction rules that apply where you live, courts with jurisdiction in Myanmar will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or Poke Info. This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief to protect rights or safety, and it does not deprive you of protections that cannot legally be waived.
General terms
These terms describe the agreement between you and Poke Info concerning the product, website, and Pro purchase, subject to the Apple app-license and mandatory-store provisions above. The Privacy Policy explains information handling. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganization, sale, or transfer of Poke Info, subject to applicable law. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Poke Info, its providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. When required, we will provide additional notice of material changes through an appropriate channel. Your continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
